My passion for Apneadiving begang during my holidays on Jamaica in 2000. During my snorkeling and diving lessons I discovered the fascinating underwater world. My dive instructor detected my talent for Apneadiving and inspired me for this sport.

 

Back in Hamburg my enthusiasm was unbowed. I found a very ambitious group and trained daily. Shortly after, everything happend very quickly, so that first records were not a long time coming.

 

For two years now I belong to the „world-elite“ of Apneadiving. During this period I established 12 world records, became three times world champion (static apnea 9:08 min, dynamic apnea with fins 223 meter and dynamic apnea without fins 183 meter).

 

In deep apnea with constant weight and fins I beat the German record of 70 meter. In the No Limits sector with carriage I even reached 122 meter. But this was only the beginning...
